Refund policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts for 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights.

To be eligible for a return or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

If you cancel your order within 14 days of making the transaction we offer a full refund with no charge and no questions asked. Upon us receiving the returned goods (if delivered to you), the package has been opened, or seal damaged, we will not accept a cancellation under any circumstances due to the high value nature of our products.

We have a free 30 day returns policy. If you return goods to us and the package has been opened, or seal damaged, we will apply a charge of £30.00 to the return of the item. This fee guarantees items are not worn and returned within 30 days for no acceptable reason that is not otherwise outlined in this policy. All refunded items will incur this charge and the fee will be deducted from the refund.

Items that are returned for an exchange of the same item will not incur this charge, so long as the packaging is not damaged, the seal is not broken and the product has not been worn.

Items that are returned for an exchange of a different item may incur this charge. We operate this type of exchange on a case by case basis, and will check the condition of the product, packaging and seal before we accept any such exchange.

If you have received the goods and wish to make a refund, exchange or cancellation, but do not return the goods to us, we will not accept a refund, exchange or cancellation under any circumstances.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regularly priced items may be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at contact@ominous.red and send your item to the return address specified in the corresponding email if we approve your request.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll be given to option to replace the item but no refunds can be made for gift items. Once the returned item is received, a replacement item will be sent to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a replacement item to the gift giver and they will find out about your replacement. You will incur the returns fee unless otherwise stated.

To return your product, you should mail your product to the address specified in the correspondence email.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you cancel an order but the product has been shipped, you will still have to pay the return shipping cost.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

When returning valuable items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

If 30 days have passed since the purchase of your item, we will not accept a refund or return under any circumstances.
